# Do I have to use SEOPress AI Credits?

No, they are optional. You can instead connect your own provider (OpenAI, Claude, Google Gemini, Mistral, DeepSeek) with your own API key. You can check your remaining balance anytime in the **“Credit Balance”** box under **SEO settings > AI**.
