# Do I need SEOPress PRO or an AI key to use MCP?

No. The MCP server is included in SEOPress Free, with 14 tools. SEOPress PRO adds 13 more. You use the subscription of your own AI client (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor…), so no AI key is needed in SEOPress. WordPress 6.9 or later is required.
