# Enable / disable the universal SEO metabox / beacon in frontend

With SEOPress, you can edit your [SEO metadata from any page builder / theme](https://www.seopress.org/newsroom/product-news/seopress-5-0/) or even without an editor.

The beacon appears by default in the lower left corner of your screen for user roles with `edit_post` capability.

You can move it anywhere on your screen, just hover it to see the double arrows icon appear to move it with a drag and drop.

If you want to enable / disable it:

- From the SEO Dashboard, click the “**Universal SEO metabox toggle”** from the features list
- From **SEO**, **Advanced**, **Appearance** tab, check / uncheck the “**Disable the universal SEO metabox**” option and click **Save changes**.
- From the Wizard installation, step 4, Universal SEO metabox sub-step, check “**Yes, please enable the universal SEO metabox!**“
