# Export / Import / Reset settings

It super easy to reuse SEOPress configuration from a site to another.

**Notice that, this tool only export/import SEOPress settings, not metadata like titles, meta description, social tags… associated in your posts, pages, custom posts etc.**

Follow this guide to [import / export SEO metadata](https://www.seopress.org/support/guides/import-metadata-from-a-csv-file-with-seopress-pro/) from a site to another.

To do this, go to** SEO**, **Tools page, Settings** tab.

## Export settings

Click **Export** button. Save the JSON file on your computer.

## Import settings

Log in to your second site, and go to **SEO**, **Tools page, Settings** tab.

Click on **browse**, select your JSON file and click **Import**.

That’s it!

## Reset settings

If you want to reset settings and return to those by default, click **Reset Settings**.
