# Quick start to use Google Analytics

## Enable Google Analytics

To do that, go to **SEO, Analytics** page.

Check the radio iOS toggle to enable this feature.

Then, from **Google Analytics** tab, check **Enable Google Analytics tracking (Global Site Tag: gtag.js)**.

Save changes.

## Setup Google Analytics v4

Since July 1st, 2023, **Universal Analytics (GA3)** is no longer supported by Google and SEOPress. **GA4** is now recommended.

Copy and paste your **Google Analytics Tracking ID** in the field **Enter your measurement ID (GA4).**

You can **EXCLUDE** some users by checking the matching roles from **Advanced** tab, **Misc** section.

Click **Save changes**.

Clear your cache if necessary.
