# How to edit SEO metadata from author archives?

To edit your author archives meta title and meta description, go to your **WP admin**, **SEO**, **Titles and metas**, **Archives** tab, **Author archives** section.

Enter a **global title** and a **global meta description**.

**Save changes** and **clear your cache**.

Use the power of dynamic variables to create something unique to each author.

For example, click the **Author biography** button below the meta description textarea to quickly add `%%author_bio%%`.

This way, we’ll use automatically the author biography in the meta description of each author archives.

You can also use:

- `%%author_first_name%%`
- `%%author_last_name%% `
- `%%author_website%%`
- ` %%author_nickname%%`
