# Using SEOPress AI Credits

**SEOPress AI Credits** is the easiest way to power the AI features of SEOPress PRO: no separate AI account and no third-party API key to manage. You buy credits from SEOPress and paste a single token.

## 1. Get your credits

1. Subscribe to **SEOPress AI Credits** at [seopress.org/ai-credits](https://www.seopress.org/ai-credits/).
2. Copy the **“API token”** from your purchase confirmation email.

## 2. Connect them in SEOPress

1. Go to **SEO settings > AI**.
2. In the provider list, choose **“SEOPress”** (the **“SEOPress Credits”** section appears).
3. Paste your token into the **“API token”** field.
4. Optionally pick the AI model (a recommended one is preselected).
5. Save.

## 3. What your credits power

Once connected, your credits instantly power every AI feature: the **AI Assistant** chat, plus generating SEO titles, meta descriptions, social tags, and image alt text, one at a time or in bulk.

## 4. Keep an eye on your balance

On the same **AI** settings page, the **“Credit Balance”** box shows how many credits remain, your usage (**“Used this cycle:”**), and a color-coded bar that warns you before you run low.
