The founder

Benjamin Denis

I built my first website at the age of 12 with MS FrontPage, followed by sites with Dreamweaver, and eventually with the WordPress CMS in version 2.3. One of them is still active and maintained: Protuts.net, offering computer tutorials in French.

I graduated from university with a degree in Computer Systems and Software, specializing in Multimedia and Marketing. I got a job as a developer in web agency on leaving university and stayed there for 8 years. During my free-time, I developed the WP Cloudy and WP Admin UI plugins.

October 2023 wp_wordcamp Co-organizing the first WordCamp in Biarritz France
September 2022 plugins_loaded Launch the SEOPress for MainWP add-on
January 2022 admin_notices $ 1 million in SEOPress sales (PRO / Insights) crossed
September 2021 wp_insert_site Brand new website!
September 2021 admin_notices New milestone: 200,000 active installations!
August 2021 add_meta_boxes Introducing the first Universal SEO metabox: edit your SEO metadata from any theme or page builder!
March 2020 admin_notices New milestone: 100,000 active installations!
September 2019 get_header We acquired new offices at the Izarbel technology park in Bidart (Basque Country).
June 2019 wp_loaded I left my job to devote myself full-time to SEOPress. We sponsored our first WordCamp Europe (Berlin - see me at our booth below).
October 2018 init Founding of SEOPress SASU
Summer 2017 plugins_loaded Idea of developing a SEO plugin. Few months later a beta version of SEOPress was launched.
