Nothing is written to your post without your approval. The Assistant proposes, you review, you apply. Suggestions can only touch an allowlist of SEO meta fields, generated HTML is sanitized before it reaches the editor, and a role gate in Advanced, Security lets you decide who on your team is allowed to use AI at all. Every conversation is metered against the same balance you watch in your dashboard, so there is never a bill you did not see coming.

AI Credits are not locked inside the editor. Every generation is reachable programmatically, so you can wire it into whatever pipeline you already run.
Abilities API. SEOPress registers native WordPress abilities for reading and writing titles, robots directives, social metadata, schemas, redirections, target keywords and content analysis. Each one carries a JSON schema and its own permission callback, so an agent gets a typed contract instead of a scraped admin screen.
MCP and AI agents. Turn on Expose abilities via REST API in Advanced, and your abilities become discoverable and executable on /wp-abilities/v1/, ready to be surfaced to any MCP client through a WordPress MCP adapter. It is off by default, and user capabilities are enforced on every call, so an agent can never do more than the account behind it.
WP-CLI. Generate straight from the command line. Loop them over a CSV, run them from a deploy hook, schedule them in cron.
Hooks. Everything is filterable. Rewrite the prompt, inject your own guidelines, tune the HTTP call, or pin a specific model.

No. SEOPress AI Credits are non-refundable, whether they have been used or not.
No. SEOPress AI Credits are tied to your billing cycle. Any credits you have not used are lost at the end of the cycle and do not carry over.
The AI features that consume credits pause until your balance is renewed. The rest of SEOPress keeps working, and you can switch to your own AI provider and API key at any time.
The content of the post, trimmed to 500 words, its language and your target keywords, through our gateway. AI answers cannot be fully controlled, so review before publishing.
