Import your redirects from Slim SEO

Switching from Slim SEO to SEOPress? You can bring all your redirects with you in a couple of clicks. This feature requires SEOPress PRO with the Redirections feature enabled.

Step 1: export your redirects from Slim SEO

  1. From your WordPress admin, go to the Slim SEO settings, Redirection tab.
  2. Click the Export button.
  3. Save the .csv file on your computer.

Step 2: import your redirects into SEOPress

  1. Go to SEO > ToolsRedirections tab.
  2. In the Import redirections section, select Slim SEO plugin (CSV) as the source.
  3. Upload the .csv file you just exported.
  4. Click Import.

That’s it! A message confirms how many redirections were imported, with a link to view them.

Good to know

  • Columns are matched by name, so the column order in your CSV does not matter.
  • The redirect type (301, 302, 307, 410, 451) and the enabled or disabled status are preserved. A redirect disabled in Slim SEO stays disabled in SEOPress.
  • Slim SEO rules such as “contains”, “starts with” or “ends with” do not exist in SEOPress. These redirects are imported as exact matches and counted in the import summary, so you can review them afterwards.
  • Duplicates are not removed automatically: before importing, make sure the same URLs do not already exist in your SEOPress redirections.
