Fix compatibility issue with LiteSpeed caching plugin

The problem

The universal SEO metabox doesn’t save data, or the data are not updated in real time when using LiteSpeed caching plugin with SEOPress.

The solution

Apply these options in this order. Depending on your configuration, it might not be necessary to apply them all. We suggest you to test the universal SEO metabox after updating a setting to see if the problem is solved.

Disable REST API cache

Go to your WordPress admin, LiteSpeed Cache, Cache settings page, Cache tab.

Set “Cache REST API ” option to OFF.

Click Save changes button.

Do not cache roles

Go to LiteSpeed Cache, Cache, Excludes tab, and check your user role (usually administrator) from “Do Not Cache Roles” option.

Click Save changes button.

Disable cache for logged-in users

From LiteSpeed Cache, Cache tab and uncheck “Cache Logged-in Users“.

Click Save changes button.
