๐ New โ Site audit feature
Requested many times, this feature request in todo for more than 3 years (yikes) is finally available in SEOPress PRO!
Find in a centralized way all the technical problems of your site related to SEO.
Grouped into 13 categories, each URL listed lists the problem in a clear and concise way with a priority level ranging from low to high. This level of impact takes into account the other problems of the URL concerned in the same category.
This SEO audit feature uses the “content analysis” brick of SEOPress.
To this we add the Google Search Console brick already existing in SEOPress PRO in order to display for each URL the number of clicks obtained from the search results and its position in the latter. All this with the aim of helping you prioritize the important content that deserves or does not deserve your attention according to your own SEO strategy.
This list of problems is updated as soon as you edit and analyze content with the dedicated metabox of SEOPress.
Of course, you can run a manual scan of all your “public” content to find any issues. Our analysis engine, which has been completely reworked for several months now, can scan around 1,000 pages in less than 5 minutes.
More than 50 tests are performed for each URL.
The analysis process is carried out in the background, so you can go about your business without having to leave your tab open.
Like our content analysis, our site audit is compatible with all themes, editors and page builders on the market.
Developers will be delighted to know that the SEOPress REST API has been updated to take advantage of this new feature. It is therefore very easy for you to obtain the list of SEO issues according to a list of criteria in order to synchronize them in the third-party tool of your choice like Notion, Airtable, Google Sheets, Excel, etc.
This first iteration is just the beginning. In the coming months, we will plan to add PDF reports (with the addition of the Google Page Speed โโbrick already present), rework the broken link detection tool to make it more efficient and effective, add AI features and much more.

๐ New โ Enhancements for the WordPress Block Editor
Our TOC (Table of Contents) block for the Block Editor is now even more powerful.
The title of the block, usually “Table of Contents” can now use a p or a <div> tag.
We have also added the slug changes or post / term deletions notice directly to the Block Editor for more convenience. It’s now easier to quickly create a redirection, we automatically fill in the fields, you just have to check and publish the redirection.
๐ Other news
This new version of SEOPress also brings its share of improvements and fixes including:
- the redirection to the wizard in specific cases ;
- some PHP notices and warnings.
